Margaret Hentz earned her bachelor’s degree in food science with a minor in chemistry from the University of Saint Joseph, a master’s degree in library science from the State University of New York at Albany, and a doctorate in information science from Nova Southeastern University.

She has done volunteer work at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Agriscience’s Harvest for Hunger garden in Indianapolis to grow and harvest fresh produce for local food pantries.

She also enjoys delivering Meals on Wheels to clients.
