Soybeans naturally appear in a wide range of colors. Over time, farmers and plant breeders have grown more light-colored yellow soybeans in response to market preference but some color variation still exists.
Some farmers may see a brown band or shadow on the seed coat of some EnlistÌýE3® soybeans. This color variation occurs from the combination of iron and isoflavones, both of which areÌýnaturally present in soybeans.
